phone calls

Yesterday, we talked to our babies! They sound so grown up now! I know, I know . . . they're still just little guys but it still thrills me to talk to them on the phone! Natalie sounds so sweet and giggly! I LOVE the way she says 'Yeaaaahhh". Drags it out! At least she doesn't just nod her head like she used to! I had to remember not to ask "yes" or "no" questions. And Kyle - well, he's just soooo dramatic! I can see every expression he's making while he talking! While we're talking to them, we can hear Brandon in the background - so cute! He was playing in his new Johnny-Jump-Up. I remember when our kids loved jumping and boucing around in one! As much as I love talking to my babies, I really love hearing my daughter (their mommy) trying to talk to us while making them behave! Hahaha! Yes, there is a God! Keith and I get so tickled at her! Brings back memories! And yes, we still miss our babies. We'll just sit here at Mom-mom & Pop-pop's house waiting for their return! :-)

Something new

Well, here it is! My first attempt at "blogging"! I'm inspired to do this by my daughter's website, and hopefully will inspire other mom-mom's and pop-pop's to do the same. I want my "babies" to know how much Mom-mom and Pop-pop miss them while they're so far away in Canada - and they can come back to Virginia anytime! Our kids are spread out about as far as they can get on the Eastern seaboard. Betsy, Shaun and babies - Kyle, Natalie, and Brandon - live in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Brian and Allie live in Key Largo, Florida. Katie's in Troy, New York, and we're here in Dry Fork, Virginia. Whew! Tires me out just thinking about it! But one thing's for sure - we're one big happy family that love each other and can't wait to enjoy each other's company as often as possible. Well, I'm signing off for the night. I need to practice adding pictures, etc. I'll bet this will be addictive!
